Douglas Primary School provides learning opportunities and conducts reading, writing, math, art, music and physical education classes. It serves students in kindergarten through grade two. The school also offers the Title I program. It includes a library that features a range of books, magazines and periodicals. Douglas Primary School staffs a media specialist, instructional facilitator and nurse. The school, also known as DPS, provides guidance counseling services, as well as serves breakfast and lunch. Located in Douglas, Wyo., Douglas Primary School is governed by Converse County School District 1, which also operates a primary, middle and high school. The district maintains food service and transportation departments.
