Founded in 1969, Citizens Christian Academy is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory school that serves more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The academy is a member of the Georgia Accreditation Commission and the Georgia Independent School Association. The school has various sports activities, such as softball, basketball, baseball, golf and tennis. Citizens Christian Academy s curriculum includes chemistry, biology, anatomy, physics, English, world and American literature, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, economics, government, Spanish, and health and physical education. It also provides lesson in several electives, including computer applications, debate, chorus, drama, public speaking and drivers education. Citizens Christian Academy is located in Douglas, Ga.
