Established in 1910, Boy Scouts of America is one of the leading youth development associations in the United States. Based in Dothan, Ala., it offers various programs and initiatives aimed at character building among the youth, along with training them to be responsible, participating citizens and cultivating personal fitness. Some of its programs include mentoring, building character, healthy life, faith in tradition and life long learning. Boy Scouts of America also undertakes projects, such as military support/appreciation, food collection and distribution, litter cleanup/community beautification, serving food at shelters and more.
