Rehabilitation Services is a division of the Southeast Alabama Medical Center, which is a nonprofit health care system that serves patients in southeastern Alabama and southwestern Georgia. Rehabilitation Services offers a range of medical programs to patients who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction and neurological disorders. The division provides services in the areas of neuropathy, sports medicine, pediatrics and osteoporosis. It offers speech, physical and occupational therapies. The division provides treatment options for swallowing problems, articulation disorders, heart strokes, Parkinson's disease, and muscle sprains and strains. Rehabilitation Services additionally offers instruction in various daily living activities, such as feeding, grooming, dressing and household tasks.
