Founded in 1975, Northside Methodist Academy serves students in grades one through five. It is a ministry of Northside Methodist Church. The academy is a private Christian school, and its academic curriculum includes social and religious studies, language arts, math and science. Northside Methodist Academy offers an extended day care program for elementary-grade students. It also provides a range of summer activities, such as arts and crafts, drama, computer applications, sports and a variety of adventurous summer camp activities. The school offers several sports activities, including soccer, volleyball, golf, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, softball, baseball, and track and field. Additionally, it offers weekly chapel services to students. Northside Methodist Academy is located in Dothan, Ala.
