Houston Academy is a coeducational day school for preschool through 12 grades and also operates upper and lower school. Its curriculum includes English, social study, health, mathematics, science, foreign language, computer, fine arts and physical education. It offers a wide a range of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Its library media center is an instructional support center and offers access to resources for students and staff in curriculum areas. It has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of the school. Houston Academy is located in Dothan, Ala.
