Based in Dothan, Ala. the Dothan City School System serves approximately 9,300 students of the district. The vision of The Dothan City School System is to prepare students for the challenges with the help of rigorous and relevant delivery of curricula. The school system consists of one pre-school center, nine elementary schools, two elementary magnet schools, two middle schools, two middle magnet schools, two high schools, one technology center, one alternative school and one accelerated recovery center. The Dothan City School System employs more than 639 certified personnel and more than 416 support staff.
