      The best decision I ever made!

      The Dorchester YMCA offers a full fitness facility with new equipment, a 25 yard pool, basketball court, steam & sauna, free aerobics classes, childcare, friendly staff and free parking. Plus, if you purchase a Metro Membership, you are allowed to use all of the Greater Boston area YMCAs. A great family environment!

      The Dorchester Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization offers swimming lessons for children, youths, teenagers and adults. The organization also provides a variety of group exercise classes in the pool for senior citizens. It offers adult beginner and intermediate swimming lessons for adults. The Dorchester Family YMCA s summer day camp programs include preschool camps for children between the age of 3 and 5 and youth camps for children between the ages of 6 and 12. The organization additionally offers infant, toddler, preschool, and before- and after-school care programs. It provides school vacation and babysitting programs include home work assistance, character development, social development, and health and wellness programming. Located in Hyde Park, Mass., the Dorchester Family YMCA offers medically-based health and fitness program for breast cancer survivors. The organization is a part of the YMCA of Greater Boston.
