Univision Radio is one of the largest Spanish-language radio broadcasters in the United States. Based in Dallas, it owns and/or programs more than 40 radio stations in some of the largest Hispanic markets in the United States and Puerto Rico. The majority of Univision Radio s stations are located in Texas. The company was previously known as the Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation. It became a division of Univision Communications in June 2002. Located in Los Angeles, Univision is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange that operates one of the largest Spanish-language television networks. In addition to the Univision Television Group, Univision owns the Galavisi n cable television network, the TeleFutura broadcast television network, more than 40 radio stations and the Univision and Fonovisa record labels.
