MD International, founded in 1987, is one of the largest suppliers of medical equipment to Latin America and the Caribbean. The firm sells products in various medical specialty categories, including general medicine, ear, nose and throat, obstetrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, physical therapy, cardiology, surgery, critical care, anesthesiology and imaging. It also organizes product and technical services training seminars throughout the year. Additionally, the firm provides consulting services in equipment and project financing, equipment planning, and architecture. The firm sells its products to international agencies, such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Pan American Health Organization. MD International is headquartered in Miami, and has additional sales offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Puerto Rico.
