Bishop McNamara High School is a college preparatory school in Forestville, Md. Its curriculum includes English, social studies, science and math. It has a counseling and career center and offers financial aid to students. Its library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. Its publications include literary magazine, newspaper and yearbook. Its Dorothy Day Christian Service program provides food, water, clothing and hospitality to the homeless, sick and imprisoned people. It has various service organizations, such as frontiers of justice, government interns, project earth, teens in action and youth for Christ. It also has various cultural organizations, such as artisans guild, England exchange, book and French clubs.
