The American Legion
General Info
Chartered and incorporated by the Congress in 1919, The American Legion one of the largest veterans' service organizations in the United States. Based in Dillsburg, Pa., it is engaged in mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs along with promoting patriotism and national security. The organization supports a number of local programs and activities, such as American Legion Baseball, the Heroes to Hometowns and more. The American Legion operates through 55 departments and provides support for other areas such as family support, national emergency fund, troops support and veterans benefits center.

This is THE nicest American Legion in Central Pennsylvania. It's smoke-free, has good food, drinks and great atmosphere. I love that it has a clean, family-friendly dining room. And on Friday nights they open the ballroom up for bands and dancing. Always a good time! Their facebook page is always up to date on events and specials.
