Tranquil setting. Owners are personable and topnotch people. Spacious rooms and quiet. Rooms and grounds are very well maintained. Wonderful location and atmosphere. Cottages are often booked one year ahead, many people return to the same cottage. That in itself speaks volumes for the owners and property. We would think of staying nowhere else in the Lake George area. Each cottage has a porch and it is wonderful to sit on the porch and look at the lake and mountains. The resort has boat docks, a play area for children, and areas available for grilling. The location is ideal. Across the street from the resort is a restaurant, a deli/convenience store, and the most beautiful library where you can check up on your email or buy books for reading while on vacation. A beautiful stone church is within walking distance. Lake George Village is only minutes away from Stepping Stones Resort. You will love Stepping Stones. The only disappointment was that the vacation ended too soon!
