Founded in 1963, it is the authoritative source for research, data, trends and market growth information for the automotive specialty-equipment industry. The organization s education department provides continuing education and management training to its members and manages the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, which helps students pursuing careers in the specialty-equipment market. It also organizes the SEMA Show, which is one of the leading automotive specialty products trade events in the world. As part of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week, the SEMA Show attracts more than 120,000 industry leaders from over 100 countries for unlimited profit opportunities in the automotive, truck and sport utility vehicle and recreational vehicle markets.
