DeWitt Junior High School provides general academic programs to students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes Spanish, music, language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school conducts classes in computers, creative communication, current events, journalism and landscaping. The school also organizes a range of athletic activities that includes wrestling, basketball, baseball, cross-country, and track and field. It maintains a library and media center that includes a range of books and reference and instructional materials. The school organizes parent-teacher meetings that encourage parental involvement in children's education. In addition, it operates a student council and equations, honors and rocket clubs. DeWitt Junior High School is located in DeWitt, Mich. It is a part of DeWitt Public Schools, which operates several educational institutes.
