- GangreneAbout 25% of Americans with diabetes will develop foot problems related to the disease. Diabetic foot conditions usually develop from a combination of poor circulation and neuropathy. Diabetics suffering from neuropathy can develop cuts, scrapes, blisters, or pressure sores that they may not be aware of due to insensitivity. If left untreated, these non-healing foot sores could even lead to gangrene and amputation. It is very important for diabetics to take the necessary precautions to prevent all foot related injuries and reduce the risk of serious foot conditions.

- Ankle SprainThere are three bones and two joints in each ankle. Breaking an ankle can mean breaking any or multiple of the bones, as well as the tearing and stretching of ligaments and tissues that surround them.
- Bunions ProblemsBunions usually form when the big toe pushes toward the second toe because of prolonged pressure on the feet, forcing the big toe joint in the opposite direction. Extra bone grows where the base of the big toe meets the foot, crowding your other toes and causing pain. The tendency to develop bunions is usually hereditary. Dr. Gross and Dr. Foreman specialize in the treatment of bunion deformities, both surgically and non-surgically.
