Meadows Elementary School is recognized by the Texas Education Agency and offers educational classes to more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school has a full-time guidance counselor that assists students in the areas of listening and study skills, behavior, peer problems, self esteem and family issues. Meadows Elementary School offers academic classes in reading and writing, music, computer applications, math, science, social studies, communication skills, art, and health and physical education. The school has a library media center that supports the academic curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information. Meadows Elementary School is a part of the DeSoto Independent School District and is located in DeSoto, Texas.
