Edward L. Wenzlaff Elementary School is a learning center that is a part of the Palm Springs Unified School District. The school serves more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts special education classes for students with special needs. The school supports instruction in music and physical education. Edward L. Wenzlaff Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that funds educational assemblies and field trips. The school also operates a student council and math club. It publishes a newsletter, Roadrunner Express, which carries updates on school programs and activities. In addition, the school organizes academic events, such as family reading nights, science fairs and spelling bee competitions. Edward L.
