My daughter has tried many different dance venues in Des Plaines including the Park Distric and a newer dance studio here in DP. Any studio can parade little ones around on the stage, but for a good, solid classical ballet foundation Galina is the place to go. It is based on Russian ballet training and the owner and ballet instructor is experienced and talented. Other ballet programs have nothing on Galina. Their upper level pointe classes are top notch. These girls come out with clean technique and beautiful performance skills. In order to run a good ballet program you need passion, discipline, patience, talent and dedication. The program and instructors at Galina embody all of these traits.

Galina is the best, most professional, most welcoming dance school I have ever been involved with. I danced with Galina for over 7 years and I got the best instruction in ballet, pointe and jazz that I could have asked for as well as developing life long friendships and relationships with people from Galina. Other experiences with other dance schools had been disappointing and I can't ever imagine find a school like Galina again. The owner, Miss Libby, is the most professional teacher and dancer you could find. A+++.
