Robert Gallegos, MD, PhD came to The Iowa Clinic in 2018 with over 10 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience. Dr. Gallegos chose The Iowa Clinic for the team atmosphere and clinic philosophy - patients first. His passion is driven by the impact he has made in the lives of his patients and their families. Outside the clinic, he spends time with his wife of 18 years and their three children. He also enjoys the outdoors -especially skiing and road biking.
