The agency was founded in 1978, and serves communities in several counties throughout central, south central and southeast Iowa. Hospice of Central Iowa operates offices from various locations, such as Boone, Centerville, Knoxville, Mount Ayr, Mount Pleasant and Perry in Iowa. The agency has a team of expert clinicians and counselors that work with patients, family caregivers and physicians to provide expert medical care. Its interdisciplinary hospice care team also offers pain management and emotional and spiritual support services 24 hours, seven-days a week.
