Garner Printing Company was one of the first printers in Des Moines, Iowa, to offer direct-to-plate technology, eliminating stripping time and errors. The company provides customers with digital printing, offset press and web press services. Other services include bindery and letterpress, mail service, fulfillment and custom packaging. Utilizing Scitex digital workstations and image setters, the company s prepress department processes images and page layout files. The company produces color images on high-resolution flatbed scanners. Pages are assembled on Macintosh and Pentium workstations. The files are output on a variety of proofing systems that include four- and eight-page image setters.
