Central Iowa's Only Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Service. Fraser Ambulance began it's life in 1997 with 2 wheelchair vans. 2 brothers saw a need for professional, courteous, and timely transportation for the disabled / wheelchair bound around the Des Moines area. In 1999, Fraser expanded it's services and began providing Paramedic Level Ground Ambulance Service. As part of this expansion, Fraser also started providing 24/7 wheelchair transportation, and opened up a 24/7 dispatch center. Fraser took the the skies in 2002, adding Fixed Wing Air Ambulance to the list of services available.
