One-Star for Artisan's Jewelry Design in this customer's opinion. See below:


I bought a custom engagement ring from Artisan's Jewelry Designs, and five stones were broken or chipped in less than a month of ownership.


Artisan's claimed this was "normal wear and tear."


I took the ring back to Artisan's to be "repaired" and our pickup time was repeatedly pushed back. When we finally got the ring back it was only a few weeks before another stone was broken.


Artisan's accused me of damaging the stones, but the band itself was neither dinged nor scraped.


They claimed the ring was not cared for properly, but it was removed for all physical activity, hand washing, bathing, sleeping, exercising, cooking, etc. We couldn't have been more careful. It would stand to reason that the quality and/or craftsmanship of the ring was sub-standard.


Six (6) stones were damaged in less than nine weeks of the ring's use and Artisan's denied responsibility. They offered no warranty for the ring.


Because of their strict "no return/no refund" policy, I essentially donated the ring to Artisan's as this experience ruined my engagement. The ring I bought is worthless both symbolically and functionally. Artisan's offered me no compensation for this.


Not only am I out the money for the ring and without an engagement ring, but I was personally blamed for the problems the ring incurred.


I would strongly advise anyone in the market for jewelry to look elsewhere as I wouldn't wish this horrible experience on anyone.

What an amazing experience! I brought an old antique engagement ring that was a prized family heirloom to the Jeweler to have a wedding band created that matched the unique size and style. Not only did the jeweler Alan take incredible care of the ring but created a beautiful band that matched the ring perfectly. Throughout the whole process my satisfaction of Artisans only increased and when it came time to pay I was almost as amazed as when I saw the finished product! I will never go anywhere else! Thank you to Artisans for everything!
