Pinkerton Academy, founded in 1814, offers education to more than 3,400 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, family and consumer science, foreign languages, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, and physical and special education. The additional courses offered by the school include accounting, financial management, business technology and desktop publishing. It provides various sports activities to students, including field hockey, soccer, golf, football, cross-country and volleyball.
