Mark I. Oestreicher, M.D. is board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Oestreicher graduated from the Bronx High School of Science and Stony Brook University with a B.S. in biology. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and interned at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Oestreicher completed his residency in dermatology at UCLA Health Sciences Center, where he was among the first to use fillers, such as Juvéderm®. Such fillers were soon to become popular. Dr. Oestreicher wrote several articles and co-authored two books on skincare clues to internal illnesses. Dr. Oestreicher appeared often on cable TV and talk radio to discuss health and skincare issues. Dr. Oestreicher continues to get many referrals from pediatricians to treat children with difficult skin problems. He performs laser treatment of brown spots and red spots and treats patients suffering from hair loss, skin cancer, as well as other skin disorders. Dr. Oestreicher treats patients’ spider veins with injections and lasers. Dr. Oestreicher is on-staff at Bridgeport Hospital and is a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Yale School of Medicine.
