A part of the Denville School District, Riverview Elementary School serves more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs a guidance counselor who communicates with parents, teachers and administrators regarding student issues and needs. Additionally, the school has a nurse who performs a range of services, such as medical and dental examinations, vision and hearing screening tests, height and weight measurements and maintenance of medical and dental records. Riverview Elementary School has a library that stocks a variety of classic and contemporary works, including realistic fiction, folktales, informational nonfiction, biographies, autobiographies, plays and poems.
