Overcharged 3 times the amount quoted.I asked to have an engineer attend a Denver zoning waiver hearing with me just incase there were any technical issues. They quoted me 1 to 2 hours at $80 per hour to drive to the meeting and attend the meeting. Drive was 40 blocks from their office, meeting took 20 mins., the engineer said nothing in the meeting with the city, and they billed me 5 hours at $80 for a total of $400! I called to find out what was going on, and they claimed they spent 4 hours preparing (which I never ask them to do). I also talked to engineer friends of mine to find out if I was out of line, and they basically said I got ripped!
