Established in 1889 and incorporated in 1904, the Visiting Nurse Association provides home care, hospice at home and wellness services across a 14 county area from Boulder, south to Pueblo, Colorado. Medical and non-medical home care services are available on an intermittent basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As Colorado's oldest and largest home health care agency, the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has a long tradition of providing skilled care from compassionate, highly qualified professionals and dedicated volunteers. The VNA, a nonprofit agency, was founded by community volunteers in 1889 as the Flower Mission to comfort Denver's sick poor.
