We used Build & Buy to install new granite kitchen counter tops.
There was never any thing said about tearing out of the old counter tops, hooking up plumbing after job was done or sub contracting out the job.
They said it was on the wall of the office, we were never in the office.
We paid Victor V a la d e z the owner of V & V V a l a d e z granite & flooring $350.00 cash for the tear out.
The first trip with the new granite the edges were cut at the wrong angle.
Second trip they forgot the back splash.
We noticed the right bowl of the new sink that we had bought and furnished was to small.
Victor said to do the job right we would have to replace the granite counter top.
It would be $800.00 labor and $700.00 for 1/2 a slab of new granite.
We again paid him $ 1,500.00 cash.
We bought another new sink, it was by the same manufacturer, it was the same outside dimension, just that the right bowl was larger.
Victor removed the old granite counter top
It took a week to bring the counter top back.
All he did was in large the existing hole to fit the new sin, put a plug where the soap dispenser fit with the smaller sink.
They cut the lip off the sink to fit the cabinet and mounted the sink on 2 two by 4 s that i furnished and glued it in.
They said the dishwasher did not need a bracket to stabilize it, now when you open the door it moves around.
Also they never finished caulking all the joints.
Victor will not return phone calls or come out and make the job right.
Pete the manager from Buy & Build say's there is nothing they can do.
I went to Buy & Build and V&V V a l d a z e at least 3 times to get them to come out when they said they would.
We turned it over to the Better Business Bureau and since they are not a member they will not talk to them.
Victor from V&V V a l a d e z granite & Flooring ripped us off for $1,500.00 for labor and materials to do a job that they did not do.
I have the paper work and pictures.
What a wonderful pair of business.
I would not do business with either one of them.
