My mom is 89 and broke her hip. The hospital did an emergency partial hip replacement. She was so worried about going to rehabilitation. I looked for reviews on the facilities that were available with her insurance. It was more than a little frustrating to find practically no reviews for these facilities. So this is the beginning of this journey. I will be writing a review during the duration of my mother's stay. My mom was transported to Sloan Lake yesterday. Checking was so easy. She was pleased with dinner said it was delicious, her room overlooks the lake and she enjoyed the sunset. Everyone has been vet nice.

Five days of rehab left me feeling very good about the character and service provided by Sloans Lake Rehab. The nurses, day and night, are sweet, kind and capable. They were so very concerned and sympathetic about an infection I had developed as a result of an IV from my preceding hospitalization (elsewhere) for hip replacement. The CNA's are attentive and kind also. The private room was clean, comfortable and afforded a spectacular view of the lake. When I made special dietary requests, the kitchen staff took personal interest in seeing me accommodated. Later, the physical therapists gave me every consideration and attention, onsite and as an outpatient. Of all the rehab centers nearby (I checked them out), I would suggest this one as first choice.

Amazing facility and staff! They truly care about their patients and families. A true gem!
