This was the worst experience I've ever had in a salon. It was my first time in there and I knew exactly what I wanted. I asked for a trim and some lowlights and wound up with bangs (which I had none before-my shortest layer was at the nape of my neck) and very ugly layers (a-la Carol Brady). Had I not spoken up about the hideous color, (the stylist had to put toner on twice after I spoke up about it) I would have looked like a skunk with red highlights (I was a dark blonde with golden highlights, very natural looking). When I did speak up for myself, the stylist was rather peeved that I didn't like her work so I was sure she took it out on me by giving me the worst haircut ever. In the end, it was also very clear I wasn't happy, tears were streaming down my face when the aesthetician took me back to wax my eyebrows and was even more unhappy when I had to pay over $200 for a cut and color that made me miserable. I felt like someone's unwitting blank canvas, which is so pretentious.

This salon has been voted top of the rockies 2005. An award winning family owned and operated for over 20 yrs in Denver, Co. Rita has three locations and one of the salons is also an institute where students enroll to become cosmetologists. This salon has wonderful on customer service, amazing well trained stylist, and fun and inviting atmosphere. They do everything cut, color,highlights,glossing,hair painting, perming, extentions, updos, nails, toes, waxing, teaching, fashion shows, weddings, private events, esthetics,etc, take time to visit there website its so cool!!! Enjoyit is well worth it.
