Mapleton Public Schools is a school district offering educational instructions to students from prekindergarten through grade 12. The district governs various schools, such as Highland Montessori School, Mapleton Early Learning Center, Adventure Elementary, Enrichment Academy, Explore Elementary, York International and Skyview Academy. The school district is governed by board of education comprising community volunteers, who are responsible for drafting district s curriculum, instructional materials, and annual budget. It offers classes in subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies, physical education, art and computer technology. Its Skyview system for high schools provides opportunities to students to play sports, participate in clubs, and attend prom and other social events with their friends.
