Dr. Kane Lai performs Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and practices integrative and functional medicine and serves as Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Denver and Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Encino. Dr. Lai uses customized wellness programs combining natural bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), personalized fitness and nutrition programs, pharmaceutical-grade supplementation and stress reduction techniques to help women and men find relief from the symptoms of menopause, andropause (the male menopause) and other hormonal imbalances. The reactionary approach of traditional medicine left Dr. Lai looking for a better way to help his patients live the best life possible. He believes a whole-body, customized and preventive approach to medicine, rather than merely reacting to illness as it occurs, is the best way to attain and maintain an optimal quality of health. Dr. Kane Lai is a graduate of Stanford University (B.S. Biology, M.A. Sociology) and the Vanderbilt School of Medicine (M.D.) in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internship at the Washington Hospital Center in 2001 and his residency in Anesthesiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, New York in 2004. Dr. Lai initially started his own medical weight loss clinic in 2007 as a way to better serve patients in promoting health, and his medical practice soon incorporated bioidentical hormones as a means to improve patients' lives. Dr. Lai is currently an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
