United Copper Industries, a sister company to the copper tube distributor and plumbing tube manufacturer Cambridge-Lee, is a manufacturer of copper building wire. The company manufactures thermoplastic, high heat-resistant, nylon-coated; non-metallic, sheath coated; and underground feeder type wire used in both the residential and commercial construction markets. All of the company s products are UL-approved and listed. The company s production and distribution plant was commissioned in early 1999. Sales, warehousing and distribution are integrated wherever possible with Cambridge-Lee's extensive copper tube facilities. United Copper Industries distributes its products through electrical wholesale distributors throughout the United States. The company is headquartered in Denton, Texas.
