I used Leroy Howe's Firm for several years, to file my personal and company tax returns. I found them to be highly unprofessional, incompetent while I used them and petty when I moved to another firm. They once billed me for hours it took them to 'learn' what any professional CPA should know. They never ONCE, filed my taxes in April, even though they were given everything that they needed from me to do so. I finally decided that I HAD to find another firm when they called me on October 15th (the absolute last day of the extension period) to tell me that they were not going to be able to get my taxes done . An extension that THEY filed because THEY couldn't get my taxes done in April! I was fined by the IRS for filing late... and Leroy had the nerve to billed me (a ridiculous amount) for filing my taxes... I have used Merki and Associates for the last couple years. They have been highly professional.
