Located in Dennison, Ohio, Claymont Intermediate School provides educational and enrichment classes to students in grades five and six. The school s teachers adopt various instructional strategies to instruct students. The intermediate school has a library that has a collection of books that include fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as provides various databases, reference materials, magazines and newspapers. The academic institute has a counselor who emphasizes character and safety education, violence prevention, and tobacco, alcohol and drug resistance. Claymont Intermediate School also employs a speech therapist, nurse, media specialist and several educational aides, intervention specialists and custodians. A part of the Claymont City School District, Claymont Intermediate School additionally publishes a newsletter.
