Joyce Nichols studied and performed music diligently for 22 years in New York City. She has performed countless solo paino, vocal and accordion recitals including opera with the Columbia University Opera Theater the Amato Opera Company in NYC and with The Palm Beach Opera for 7 years after relocating. Ms. Nichols was fortunate to study with Harold C Luckstone from NYU the incomparable Madame Gurevitch in Manhattan, the great tenor Giuseppi Campora in Florida and other renowned musicians. Ms.Nichols is competent in all forms of music including opera, oratorio, musical theater and gospel. Her repertoire includes seven languages and she has been a member of the New York Singing Teachers Association for 30 years. She was also a soloist for churches and temples in and around the New York City area, as well as South Florida. Joyce Nichols listens to her students and encourages them to be creative. She helps students balance the commitment it takes to develop talent with the fun and excitement music offers. Her approach includes individualized lessons for each student, teaching a wide variety of styles and always ensuring the student is having fun!
