Reviews
My father recently passed away after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. Short Funeral Home handled all of the arrangements and everything they did was simply outstanding. Their staff was patient and supportive and helped me with items that may have seemed arbitrary to them, but were important to me and my brother and sister. I experienced difficulty placing my contribution to the Memory Wall and was able to write it from memory while Amy, one of the kindest people, typed it directly onto the Web page for me prior to the service starting. Amy's husband, Tom, was equally as kind and helped support me as I use a cane, in both entering and leaving the funeral service. I have lost many beloved family and friends over the years and, as a result, have been to at least a dozen Funeral Homes. Short Funeral Home was without a doubt right up there with the best. They strike the correct balance between pure professional service which allowed my family to confidently know that things were taken care of and a sincerely warm and sensitive approach that helped us take the very first steps in grieving and in time, healing.
