      General Info
      Physical Therapy is the evaluation and treatment of physical disabilities designed to improve physical strength, range of motion and ability. From the initial evaluation through recovery, each patient has a highly skilled therapis who has a common goal: to provide relief of symptoms and restoration of function. Simply put, they are there to help you feel better. The therapist will review each patient's past history and the physician's referral and perform a comprehensive evaluation. The evaluation may include a series of tests to determine range of motion, muscle strenth, postural alignment, abnormalities in walking pattern, body mechanics or quality of movement. Other tests may include ones for sensation, balance and coordinator and nerve funtion diagnostics. After the evaluation is complete, the therapist will recommend a plan of care and specialized treatment program for each individual patient.
