My mother complained of being in extreme pain but only at night! It seems who ever works Thursday night thru Sunday night overnight shift is pocketing my mothers pain meds. When my mother brought it to that nurses attention, that she wasn't receiving her pain meds, she said the nurse started bragging about having a sex change with no pain meds. My mother has also witnessed that same nurse groping other nurses and making inappropriate sexual comments to nurses and patients.

The lack of skilled care is unacceptable at Ridgecrest Deland. Consider any other facility for your loved one.

The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the job. The food was good and therapy got me on my feet.

Me and my wife was here and we received excellent care. Staff was wonderful at caring for all of our needs.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Ridgecrest. All staff was nice and Nurse Eddie was excellent, he was so excited that he got my sugar down he gave me 2 big hugs two days in a row. I'm not saying Ridgecrest is perfect but I would recommend anyone to come here.

Staff treated me like I was V.I.P and that made me feel really comfortable. Food was good, I like the way they came in and took my order everyday. Excellent Therapy

I was able to decorate my wheel chair for the in house Christmas parade and and I came in 1st place.

Everyone is marvelous, I recieved great care and awesome treatment. I love playing cards with my group of friends here at ridgecrest.

I read these reviews and thought omg when my mother went here from the hospital. She had previously been in Lake Mary Rehab, and it was the worst place I could imagine. I figured that I would have her here just long enough to find a bed someplace else. What I found was a place that was caring and engaged with my mothers care. She has many health problems, dementia being one of them. She would sometimes be paranoid, or afraid. The staff would regularly just sit with her and talk to her, often holding her hand. She got PT regularly. They goal with them was to get her home, not keep her there as long as they could milk insurance. She also could not remember to push the call button when she needed something, so they just started checking in on her every 15 mins or so. I am VERY SATISFIED with my mothers care. I would recommend that if you are looking for rehab for yourself or a loved one, to check this place out. I am grateful for the kindness shown by the nursing and medical staff.

Disgusting! Gave my loved one someone else's meds! Wouldn't take my dog there! Should not be in business!! Disgusting business!
