Koester Metals manufactures high quality sheet metal enclosures and fabricated components. Customers include the material handling industry, electrical drives manufacturers and power and hydraulic systems producers. KMI s experienced design engineers and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing technology enable the design of cabinetry and components at lower costs and speed assembly time. Designers work from complete information sets including hand drawn and electronic CAD files to quickly and economically facilitate production. Ultimately, design templates in AutoCAD are generated to transform concepts into the desired end products. Koester employs a finishing department that consists of three paint booths, force-drying and sophisticated material handling systems for quality assurance. The company was founded in 1975 and is based in Defiance, Ohio.
