Founded in 1969, Helen Farabee Regional MHMR Centers provides access to community-based treatment and support services for individuals with severe and persistent forms of mental illness and psychiatric disabilities. The center offers psychiatric evaluation, supportive counseling, psychoactive medication, monitoring, community-based crisis intervention, day habilitation and psychosocial training services. Additionally, it provides drug testing, case management, service coordination, family support, residential program, employment, rehabilitative, transportation, respite care and 24-hour emergency screening services. The center serves Archer, Baylor, Clay, Cottle, Dickens, Foard, Hardeman, Haskell, Montague, Stonewall, Throckmorton, Wichita, Wilbarger, Wise and Young counties in Texas.
