Located in Decatur, Mich., Davis Elementary School imparts basic education to students in kindergarten through grade four. It offers lessons in several subjects that include music, English, language arts, math, science, social studies, art, and health, computer and physical education. It promotes the physical development of the students by organizing numerous sports programs, including football, baseball, softball, basketball and track. The school has a media center that offers a collection of atlases, dictionaries and encyclopedias, as well as books, puzzles, quizzes and resources for students and teachers. The elementary school has a school counselor who serves as a resource for students, parents and its staff and provides consultation, individual and group counseling, developmental lessons and coordination services.
