Ann Tapper, NP, became a nurse practitioner because of her passion and desire to have a positive impact on the world and the people around her. Ann’s focus is on family medicine with a special interest in patient education. “I believe empowering patients with knowledge improves their outcome,” says Ann. Her biggest motivators are her patients. She loves to learn about her patients’ lives, their unique journeys and the lessons they have learned along the way.“I love to hear about that family wedding they have been planning or to dry their tears when they need consoling,” says Ann.Her mother and grandfather have been the biggest influences in her life. She grew up watching her mother make a difference in the lives of the people in their community as a nurse. Her grandfather had a passion for serving people in the community and spent several years in different leadership roles throughout Berrien County. He instilled in her the importance of service to our families and our communities.Ann is a volunteer at her children's schools and enjoys helping with the events their schools put together. She loves to spend time with her blended family and six beautiful kids! They attend many sports activities together, travel and love to plan new adventures. I believe in a personalized approach to each individual that includes their medical, financial, cultural and emotional needs.
