Emory's Long-Term Acute Care facility is a specialty-care hospital designed for patients with serious medical problems that require intense, specialized care and rehabilitation for an extended time. Our goal is to be a true partner to our patients and their families during their healthcare journey by providing high-quality care and ongoing support. In addition to intensive therapy and round-the-clock nursing and respiratory care, we provide the following services: specialized nursing, respiratory rehabilitation, vent weaning protocols, wound care, pain management, swallowing treatment, remote telemetry, remote pulse oxygen monitoring, physical, occupational and speech therapy, radiology, nutritional management, family education and support.
