Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology, P.C. and Atlanta Endoscopy Center, Ltd have been serving the residents of Dekalb County and the greater Atlanta community since 1982. We are proud to provide our patients with the best quality healthcare in a compassionate and cost effective manner. Our patients are treated individually, as people, not just a number. They are seen in a comfortable, personalized environment and treated with respect and dignity. Routine matters will be handled by scheduled appointment. Urgent matters can be scheduled within 1 - 3 business days. The majority of our procedures are performed in the privacy of our state-of-the art endoscopy suite, which is adjacent to our office. Our facility is licensed by the State of Georgia and accredited by Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care, Inc (AAAHC). OUR PHYSICIANS David B. Rausher, MD received his undergraduate degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. His medical degree is from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. His residency in Internal Medicine and subsequently, his fellowship in Digestive Diseases (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) was completed at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Rausher is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Rausher has been awarded special recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). He is also a Fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association (ACGAF). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Rausher founded Atlanta Center for Gastroenterology, P.C. in 1982. Charles (Cliff) Parrish, MD received his undergraduate degree from University of Tennessee and his medical degree from University of Tennessee Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Parrish's fellowship in Digestive Diseases (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) was completed at the University of Kentucky. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Parrish joined Atlanta Center for Gastroenterlogy, P.C. in 1991. RESEARCH Our patients have access to clinical trials through the practice. We have participated in multiple sudies of illnesses related to digestive diseases and hepatology. Anyone interested in learning about current active studies are encouraged to call our Research Study Coordinator at (404) 296-1986. INSURANCE We are participating Medicare providers. We accept most insurance companies including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United Health Care, and many others. Please call the office to chek on your particular insurance plan. We file almost all insurance claims for you shortly after your visit. Co-pays and co-insurance will be collected at time of service. For your convenience all major credit cards and personal checks are accepted as methods of payment.
