Provided by YP.comThe place just seemed like it needed a good scrubbing. The service was slow and the food was cold. Would not go back.

Provided by YP.comWorst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. My son ordered a steak and ordered it medium. It came out black. We told our waitress, who was wonderful, that it was just too done and could we get another one. We would not have complained, but the steak was cooked way more than well done even. The entire management team went insane! The first manager came out and told us it was our fault because we did not understand their cooking chart. We were extremely nice and told them that we ordered it medium, not well done and it was black. She still would not listen to us and kept on and on about the cooking chart. I then asked for a menu, showed HER their cooking chart and explained how a medium steak is suppose to be cook according to THEIR cooking chart and how our steak was cooked. She then said we were being stubborn and that it was not their fault. We ordered a MEDIUM steak NOT well done. I don't think this manager ever understood this. Then another manager, who I think is either a general manager or owner came over to our table and also argued with us about how the steak was cooked. I got mad then and held up the steak and asked him according to HIS chart how was that steak cooked? He said that was a well done steak. I told him "exactly, we wanted it MEDIUM." He then went on and on about how they never have cooked a steak wrong and it was our waitresses fault for not explaining the cooking chart. I got upset then and told him that we understood the cooking chart, that is why we ordered it medium. It was not her fault and that we would NEVER be back in that restaurant again. I also told him that she seemed to be the only one in that restaurant that understood what customer service was about. They brought us another steak as we were leaving. Everybody was done eating, so we were ready to just get out of there. We told them to forget about the steak. We were fed up with arguing about it. We still paid for the steak, that we never ate, but by that time, we just wanted out of there. Regardless of our experience, our meal was very expensive and just not worth the hassle.

Provided by YP.comWe love to get out of Huntsville once in a while and experience southern hospitality at JW's. We've never waited more than 5 minutes for a table, the service is efficient and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The cheese fried with homemade ranch dressing are one of my favorites as well as the 6oz ribeye.
