The DeWitt School District serves more than 1,530 students in high, middle and elementary schools. It maintains a staff of over 125 certified teachers. The district s schools academic curricula include English, geometry, algebra, trigonometry and calculus. The DeWitt School District s schools offer instructions in accounting, music, oral communications, fine arts, business, and computer technology and keyboarding. Its schools provide classes in economics, history, civics, and banking and finance principles. The district s schools provide various sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, football, softball, golf, tennis, soccer and cheerleading. It operates food service, transportation, special education and parental involvement departments. The DeWitt School District is accredited by the North Central Association Commission.
