We have been serving DeSoto for over 25 years. The salon is staffed by highly qualified women, with over 60 years of combined experience. Each of the girls are required to continue their education through beauty shows and seminars to ensure they always have the most up-to-date education and knowledge of current trends.

Business History

I was still in high school when I started beauty school, I knew when I was eight years old that I had wanted to do hair. I got my first job at 17, working as a stylist at Society Curl. I worked there for 11 years and decided to open my own salon. I’m a beach boys fan, that’s how I picked the name of my salon, Catch A Wave and your sitting on top of the world. I can’t say that I’m sitting on top of the world, but I’m happy to go to the salon every day and work, even after 37 years of doing hair. It’s my passion. Thanks Donna Johner.

All of our haircuts come with a shampoo and conditioner if needed. We don't charge extra for all the little things. That's the difference in a Mom and Pop salon verses a chain salon.
